Pedestrian killed on North Bicycle Path

According to the Suffolk County Police Department, a 2002 Honda was heading north on the Port Jefferson Station road shortly after 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 2, when it hit the pedestrian. Although police did not immediately name the victim, authorities identified her the next day as 73-year-old Rosa Maria Sinchi, a resident of Sweet Woods Court.
