An Island Park man was killed when his car was struck head-on by a drunken driver who had crossed into his lane on Route 25A in Smithtown on March 13, 2015, Suffolk County police said. Natalia Simons, 36, of Kings Park, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after the 12:05 a.m. crash that killed 59-year-old Larry Garwood, police said.
