May 6, 2015 - Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that killed a pedestrian in Miller Place last evening. John Luke, 16, was apparently crossing Route 25A at the intersection of Miller Place Road when he was struck by a 2015 Chevrolet SUV, driven by Francesco Giulietti, who was traveling westbound on Route 25A at 11:30 p.m. Luke, of Miller Place, was transported to John T. Mather Memorial Hospital in Port Jefferson where he was pronounced dead.
