May 13, 2015 - Suffolk County Police Vehicular Crime Unit detectives are investigating a crash that killed a woman in Bay Shore last night. Ishwer Wadhwa was crossing 5th Avenue in Bay Shore when she was struck by a 2000 Nissan Maxima that was traveling southbound on 5th Avenue at 8:47 p.m. The driver of the vehicle, Jerson Ventura, 32, of Wyandanch , drove to the Third Precinct to report the crash.
