May 12th, 2015 - Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are investigating a two-vehicle crash that killed a woman in Dix Hills this morning. Cassandra Walter was driving a 2000 Saturn northbound on Commack Road near Euclid Avenue when she apparently lost control of the vehicle, crossed over the double yellow line and struck a southbound 2000 Honda minivan at approximately 7 a.m. Walter, 26, of Babylon , was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.
