Vote on volunteer firefighter pensions

The Amityville Volunteer Fire Department was organized into a village department in 1905 under fire chief Milford Ketcham and became one of the first in Suffolk County to use motorized fire trucks. It now has emergency squad, water rescue and heavy rescue units and educates youth in the community about fire prevention and CPR.
