Police: Serious accident shuts parts of Routes 347, 111 in Hauppauge

A Suffolk County police investigation of a two-vehicle accident that seriously injured at least one person in Hauppauge closed portions of Routes 111 and 347 early Thursday. Westbound Route 347 and Route 111 south of the intersection were closed as late as 5:30 a.m., the spokeswoman said.
