Andre Berube arrested in theft of pocketbooks from cars at horse farms, cops say

A Blue Point man broke into and stole pocketbooks from more than half-a-dozen cars parked at horse farms in eastern Long Island over the past two years, according to Suffolk County police. Andre Berube, 37, took pocketbooks that had been left in the vehicles and used credit cards he found to make purchases, police said.
