Hampton Bays Volunteer Ambulance Corps paramedic Ralph Oswald dies in line of duty, officials say

An East End paramedic died Monday morning after he suffered a heart attack while tending to an unresponsive patient, officials said. Suffolk County Fire Rescue and Emergency Services identified the paramedic as Ralph Oswald, 64, of the Hampton Bays Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
