November 19, 2014 - Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are investigating a crash that killed a pedestrian in Port Jefferson Station last night. Paul Kearins was attempting to cross Route 25A, while pushing a shopping cart, at the intersection of Dayton Avenue when the shopping cart was struck by a 2009 Chrysler PT Cruiser that was traveling southbound on Route 25A.
