Suffolk County police say an officer on routine patrol stopped a man around 2 p.m. Thursday after seeing him speeding and not wearing a seatbelt while driving on the Sunrise Highway in Bellport. An investigation showed the driver's license had been suspended and that he had gotten 34 separate tickets on 16 different days.
