Nearby: Car Goes Into Water In Mastic Beach

At about 7:25AM on the morning of November 30th the Suffolk County Police as well as the volunteers from Mastic Beach Fire Department and Ambulance were alerted to a car in the water at the docks on Cranberry Dr and Rivera Dr. Upon arrival of the first responding police unit he advised headquarters to notify fire that he had a car submerged in the water approximately 40 feet from shore. Assistant Chief Carlo Grover of the Mastic Beach FD was the first to arrive on scene and took charge.
