November 18, 2014 - Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are investigating a hit-and-run crash that seriously injured a Mastic man Sunday morning. Troy Castro, 26, was struck by an unknown vehicle while walking on Wood Avenue in Mastic at approximately 2 a.m. Castro, of Woods Avenue, Mastic , was transported to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital in East Patchogue and then transferred to Stony Brook University Hospital where he was in serious condition.
