January 18, 2015 - Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that killed a pedestrian in Dix Hills early this morning. John Capalbo was driving a 2003 Lincoln southbound on Deer Park Avenue when his vehicle struck a pedestrian who was attempting to cross from west to east at MacNeice Place at approximately 6:20 a.m. The pedestrian was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip where he was pronounced dead.
