January 22nd, 2015 - Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that killed an elderly man in Huntington Station today. Salvatore Tornatore was driving a 2008 Cadillac westbound on East Jericho Turnpike, just west of Engelke Avenue, when his Cadillac entered the eastbound lane and struck a car carrier trailer at approximately 2:30 p.m. Tornatore, 94, of Huntington Station, was transported to Huntington Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
