Suffolk County's Seventh Squad detectives and Crime Stoppers said Monday they are looking for the driver of a sport utility vehicle who fled the scene after striking a pedestrian in Mastic Beach. The SUV was traveling east on Pineway Avenue at about 8 p.m. Friday when it hit a woman, 22, walking on the roadway just east of Mill Drive, police said in a news release.
