March 25, 2015 - Suffolk County Police Third Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that killed a Shirley man last evening. Ronald Viscusi, 63, was driving a 2001 Lincoln southbound on Islip Avenue when his vehicle struck the rear of a 2001 Honda driven by Emperatriz Ortiz, 26, who was backing out of a driveway at 6 Islip Avenue at approximately 8:30 p.m. Viscusi's vehicle then crashed into a tree.
