Smithtown Highway Superintendent Glenn Jorgensen was directed to appear in First District Court Wednesday morning in Central Islip, according to the Suffolk County district attorney's office. DA spokesman Robert Clifford said Jorgensen will appear in Room D-11 sometime after 11 a.m. Clifford declined to say why Jorgensen was directed to appear.
