Blaze destroys Holly House, Grove Hotel in Cherry Grove on Fire Island, officials say

Firefighters battle a blaze in Cherry Grove on Fire Island on Friday, March 27, 2015. Two Fire Island landmarks -- the Ice Palace bar and the Holly House Hotel -- were destroyed and the boardwalk was damaged, Suffolk County police and fire officials said.
