March 24, 2015 - Suffolk County Police Fourth Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that seriously injured a pedestrian in Lake Grove last night. Harold Edelman, of Medford , was walking southbound across Nesconset Highway near Hallock Road when he was struck by a 2012 Nissan Cube that was traveling eastbound on Nesconset Highway at 11:15 p.m. Edelman, 70, suffered serious head injuries and was transported by ambulance to Stony Brook University Hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
