Two people were arrested Monday on hate-crime charges after authorities said they burglarized an elderly woman at a senior citizen housing complex in Greenlawn, according to Suffolk County police. Police received a 911 call around 1:15 p.m. on Monday reporting that two people claiming to be collecting donations for a church had "gained access" to an elderly woman's apartment and stole property, a news release said.
