A Suffolk County police car was struck by another vehicle Sunday evening, causing the police car to jump a curb and strike two children in Deer Park, authorities said. The police officer in the car and the two pedestrians, both from Hicksville, were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Suffolk police said.
