RONKONKOMA, N.Y. - Police on Long Island and in Queens are investigating separate incidents of holiday decorations being destroyed or damaged. In Suffolk County, police said someone slashed the inflatable Santa and Frosty decorations over the weekend at a home on Springdale Drive in Ronkonkoma.
