December 15, 2014 - Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad and Arson Squad detectives are investigating a fire at a motel that killed a man in North Amityville this morning. First Precinct Police officers responded to a 911 reporting a fire at Sayonara Motel , located at 831 Broadway, at approximately 5:35 a.m. One man, who was residing in a room on the second floor, was overcome by the fire.
