Suffolk cop hurt in hit-and-run heads to rehab facility

Officer Nicholas Guerrero is wheeled out of Stony Brook University Hospital on Friday after being hit by a vehicle that was fleeing a traffic stop, police said. A Suffolk County police officer critically injured in a hit-and-run while he trying to arrested a wanted man was released from the hospital Friday to the thunderous applause of hundreds of fellow officers.
