RIVERHEAD, N.Y., Oct. 23, 2014 -- Suffolk Bancorp , parent company of Suffolk County National Bank , today reported net income of $3.7 million, or $0.32 per diluted common share, for the third quarter of 2014 compared to $3.9 million, or $0.34 per diluted common share, a year ago. For the nine months ended September 30, 2014, the Company recorded net income of $11.2 million, or $0.96 per diluted common share, versus $9.4 million, or $0.81 per diluted common share for the comparable 2013 September year-to-date period.
