SCCC opens $29.9M life sciences building on Selden campus Tuesday

Suffolk County Community College Tuesday will open the first new academic building on the school's Selden campus in 44 years, marking a major investment in its rapidly growing life sciences department. The $29.9 million construction is being named after William J. Lindsay, the Suffolk County legislator and presiding officer who died of lung cancer in September 2013 at age 67.
