The Suffolk County SPCA is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person who shot a puppy and dumped it on a trail. SPCA Chief Roy Gross says the puppy's body was found Friday in a plastic bag on a trail at Laurel Lake Preserve in Mattituck.
