Junior Tom Cutinella was remembered Thursday, one day after he collapsed during the third quarter of Shoreham-Wading River's varsity football game on the road against Suffolk County rival John Glenn High School, Teammates, rival players and classmates held a tearful vigil at Shoreham-Wading River High School in eastern Long Island on Thursday, less than 24 hours after 16-year-old junior Tom Cutinella died after a head-jarring collision on the football field. Cutinella collapsed during the third quarter of Shoreham-Wading River's varsity football game on the road against Suffolk County rival John Glenn High School, a rare Wednesday afternoon contest in advance of Yom Kippur.
