October 20th, 2014 - Suffolk County Police Vehicular Crime Unit detectives are investigating a crash that killed a bicyclist in North Amityville last night. An unidentified male bicyclist was struck by a 1999 Lexus 300 that was travelling northbound on Route 110 in North Amityville last night at 9:02 p.m. The victim of the crash was transported by North Amityville Fire Department to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip where he was pronounced dead.
