Suffolk County Police today arrested a resident of Ireland who was visiting Long Island for driving while intoxicated with his two children in the vehicle. James O'Connor was driving a 2012 Volkswagen Passat westbound on Middle Country Road in Selden when he was pulled over by Sixth Precinct Crime Section Officer John Bokinz for failing to maintain his lane at approximately 3:30 a.m. O'Connor's 5-year-old and 8-month-old daughters were in the vehicle with him.
