Special Suffolk grand jury expires without findings in Nassau cop's unjustified shooting of cabbie

A Newsday investigation has found that there will be no charges following a Suffolk County special grand jury investigation into off-duty Nassau police Officer Anthony DiLeonardo's shooting of unarmed cabdriver Thomas Moroughan in Huntington Station in 2011. Suffolk District Attorney Thomas Spota said he was stymied in the inquiry.
