A Blue Point man was arrested on Friday and charged in a series of pocketbook thefts from vehicles parked at horse farms in eastern Suffolk County, police said. Andre Berube, 37, was arrested at the corner of Sunrise Highway and Route 112 in East Patchogue following an investigation by the Suffolk and Southampton Town police departments.
