A 22-year-old woman was shot multiple times in the torso as she sat in a car Saturday morning in North Babylon, Suffolk County police said. The victim, who police have yet to identify, was sitting in the passenger seat of a 2007 Scion at 1:33 a.m. on Governor Avenue when an unknown suspect fired multiple shots into the vehicle, police said.
