Bellone and Hahn Announce: Legislature Approves Funds for Algal Bloom Plan, Strategy

May 15, 2014 - Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone and the Suffolk County Legislature approved the appropriation of $100,323 from the Suffolk County Water Quality Protection and Restoration Program and Land Stewardship to develop a Harmful Algal Blooms Action Plan and Strategy and perform a Shellfish Aquaculture Monitoring Program Assessment.
