Police probe theft of Centereach sports league's equipment

James Hannon, of the Three Village Baseball & Softball League, told Suffolk County police items worth between $8,000 and $10,000, were taken sometime between Wednesday afternoon, April 16, 2014, and Thursday morning, April 17, from a unit at Levitt Ballfield Park, at Hawkins and Wireless roads in Centereach.
