Thieves smashed a dump truck through the front of a Macy's store at the Smithaven Mall early Tuesday, stealing an ATM and an undisclosed amount of cash, Suffolk County police said. Police said the incident in Lake Grove was reported in a 911 call received at 2:34 a.m. and a search for the suspects included a K-9 team and an aviation unit.
