October 26, 2014 - Suffolk County Police Fifth Squad detectives are investigating a crash that seriously injured a Patchogue man this afternoon. An unidentified Hispanic man was riding a bicycle northbound on the southbound shoulder of North Ocean Avenue when he apparently attempted to cross the road at approximately 3:40 p.m. The bicyclist was struck north of Cedar Avenue by a southbound 2010 Hyundai Elantra being driven by Celeste McKenna, 61, of Patchogue.
