Dad dies after getting hit with baseball before sona s game

A Long Island Little League coach died after he was struck in the head with a baseball during warm-ups for his son's team before a game Saturday night, authorities said. Richard Becher, 50, was pitching during batting practice for his 12-year-old son's travel team at a facility called Baseball Heaven in Yaphank, Suffolk County, officials said.
