Suffolk police car involved in accident, cops say

A marked police car responding to a call Wednesday night was involved in a collision with another car on Fifth Avenue in Bay Shore, Suffolk County police said. Police said the officer, whose identity was not released, was taken to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore with minor injuries.
