Cops: Long Island woman, nephew charged in return scam

Barbara Brennan, 55, of Amityville, and her nephew, William Brennan, 37, of Bay Shore, were arrested by Riverhead Town Police on Friday and charged with petit larceny, authorities said. An Amityville woman and her nephew were arrested on Friday in an alleged merchandise return scam that targeted Lowes home improvement stores across Long Island , police said.
