It was a hit-and-run, literally, with the driver fleeing on foot -- leaving his vehicle behind at the crime scene, police said. The crash occurred at the entrance to the eastbound Southern State Parkway off Bay Shore Road near Storey Boulevard in Bay Shore at 9:19 p.m. Wednesday, Suffolk County police said.
