Woman hurt in propane tank explosion, police say

One woman was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital with undisclosed serious injuries after police said a propane tank exploded at a home Sunday night in Brentwood. The explosion at the home on Third Avenue was reported at 7:36 p.m., Suffolk County police said.
