A man entered Capital One, located at 300 South Wellwood Avenue, approached a teller at approximately 5:40 p.m. and passed a note announcing a robbery, according to the Suffolk County Pattern Crime Unit. The robber fled on foot south on South Wellwood and is described as a man in his 40s, between 5'8" and 5'10" tall, wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt, grey sweatpants, according to police.
