Suffolk County Police arrested a Nesconset woman for driving while intoxicated with a 4-year-old female child in the vehicle last evening. According to police, Jeannie Muller, 34, was driving a 2014 Jeep on Route 25 and, at the intersection of Boyle Road her vehicle struck two other moving vehicles at 9:54 p.m. An investigation by police at the scene revealed that Muller was under the influence of alcohol and she was arrested and charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated with a Child Passenger 15 Years Old or Younger in violation of Leandra's Law and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

April 21st, 2015 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police are seeking the public's help to identify and locate two people who stole merchandise from a Commack store on two occasions during the past three months. A man and woman stole handbags from TJ Maxx, located at 5020 Jericho Turnpike, on February 19 and March 18. During the first incident, the pair stole more than $650 in merchandise and during the second incident more than $860 in bags were stolen.

Coram Pedestrian Critically Injured in Crash

April 21st, 2015 - Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are investigating a crash that critically injured a female pedestrian in Coram last evening. Justin Vaughan, 28, was driving a 1994 Jeep westbound on Middle Country Road when a vehicle with no headlights on crossed Middle Country Road in front of the Jeep, causing Vaughan to swerve his vehicle to avoid a collision at 8:21 p.m. The Jeep struck the pedestrian, Susan Restrepo, 56, at 8:21 p.m. The driver of the other vehicle, who is unknown, was not involved in the crash.
