The Rockville Centre Fire Department was one of 30 Nassau and Suffolk County fire departments to participate in a firefighting tournament at Hempstead's Weir Street Course on Aug. 3. A newly formed team, the RVCFD Woodlanders participated in drills testing skills ranging from general efficiency to hose use and bucket transportation.
